How It Started

Born From a Burger Obsession

Gila Burger was born in 2022 from one simple, burning question: why is it so hard to find a truly great burger in Petaling Jaya (PJ)? Not fast food. Not average. A proper, gourmet burger — made with real ingredients, stacked with intention, and priced so anyone can enjoy it. Our mission — to serve the best burger in Malaysia, one fresh patty at a time.

We set up in Damansara Perdana and got to work. Fresh beef patties, hand-seasoned. Crispy fried chicken that actually crunches. Fries loaded with flavour. And a menu that keeps growing because we never stop experimenting.

The name says it all. Gila — because you have to be a little crazy to care this much about a burger. We think that's a good thing.

Gila Burger introduced Malaysia's first Tenggiri fish burger — a bold, Malaysian-first creation you won't find anywhere else. The beloved Spanish mackerel of Malaysian waters, served between a toasted sesame bun. We built it, and it became one of our most talked-about items.
